To cancel your lost or stolen Cambrian Credit Union ATM/Debit card

- Call 1.888.277.1043 24 hours / 7 days a week

- Login to Cambrian Online Banking and follow these steps:

Suspend ATM/Debit card

This will temporarily disable the card. The card can be reactivated at a later date.

1. Login to Online Banking
2. Click "Suspend ATM/Debit Card" in Quick Links on the home page

3. Choose "Suspend" for the card you want to suspend

Cancel ATM/Debit card

This will permanently disable the card. Should be used if card is stolen.

1. Login to Online Banking

2. Click “Cancel ATM/Debit Card” in Quick Links on the home page

3. Choose "Cancel" for the card you want to cancel

Lost or stolen Credit Card

To report a lost or stolen Cambrian Mastercard®:

- Contact Cardholder Services immediately at 1.855.341.4643 (Canada and U.S.) or 1.647.252.9564 (International Collect).They will block and reissue your card.

Good idea

If your identification, credit card or ATM/Debit card has been lost or stolen, you should notify the credit bureaus of Equifax and Transunion. They will add a note to your file that you may be a victim of fraudulent activity.

Can you open a banking account online?

Should I open a Savings account or a Chequing account?

Many of our members open a Chequing account for their daily banking and a Savings account to save up for a special project or occasion.

  • Our Premium Chequing Account provides you the best value, including more free transactions and cheques.
  • Our Premium Savings account gives you a high interest rate plus day-to-day banking transactions.


And you can bank for free when you set up a monthly direct deposit in your Chequing or Savings account; we will refund your banking fees automatically every month.


You can open as many Savings accounts as you want and nickname the accounts as you wish.

Can anyone open an account at Cambrian Credit Union?

Manitoba residents 18 years and older can open a Cambrian account online or at the branch. You must have a Canadian Credit File and valid government-issued photo I.D. (ex: driver’s license).


Manitoba residents less than 18 years can open a Cambrian account at the branch. You may require a parent or guardian signature unless you are able to provide the required documentation like valid government-issued photo ID (ex. driver’s license).

Do you offer Apple Pay / Google Pay / Samsung Pay?

You can use Apple Pay, Samsung Pay and Google Pay with your Cambrian chequing and savings accounts and your Cambrian Credit Union Mastercard®.


Set up Samsung Pay

  1. Download the Samsung Pay app from Samsung Galaxy Apps on your eligible Samsung device.
  2. Open the app on your device and sign into your Samsung Account.
  3. Follow the on-screen instructions to add your Cambrian ATM/Debit card or Cambrian Credit Union Mastercard®


Set up Apple Pay

  1. Open Apple Pay
  2. Follow the on screen instructions
  3. Verify your card using the Cambrian Mobile App or by calling Cambrian’s support department at (204) 925-2727 or toll free at 1 (888) 695 -8900.


Set up Google Pay

  1. Download Google Pay from the Google Play Store.
  2. Open the Google Pay app.
  3. Tap the (+) sign.
  4. Follow the on-screen instructions to add your Cambrian Credit Union ATM/Debit card or Cambrian Credit Union Mastercard®
