National Day for Truth and Reconciliation

by Cambrian Credit Union | Sep 13, 2021

Cambrian will be closed on Thursday, September 30 to allow employees the opportunity to officially observe the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation in its first year as a federal statutory holiday. As a result, all Cambrian branches and corporate offices will be closed on Thursday September 30; we will re-open on Friday, October 1.

To demonstrate Cambrian’s community support for the inaugural National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, we are working to identify and commit a portion of our 2021 donations to agencies that directly support our Indigenous community on their journey of healing.

Additionally, we are encouraging our staff to take time to learn more about the impacts of residential schools on our community and on the generations of Indigenous people, and the process of healing and reconciliation we must all play on the path forward.
