Total Service Chequing Package
If you use your chequing account for most of your daily transactions, consider a Total Service Package. Choose one of our three different chequing packages, and know exactly what you’ll pay in service fees every month, helping you to stick to your budget. Simply select your package based on your normal account activity, and pay a fixed monthly price, as long as you stay within your allowable limits. Each package comes with a combination of free transactions depending on the package level you choose. Our branch staff would be happy to help you find the package that’s right for you, and can change your package at the beginning of any month if your normal banking activity changes – you are never locked in for a certain period of time.
What’s best is that your monthly package fee will be refunded to you every month if you qualify for Free Banking when your loans and deposits total $30,000 or more!

Connect Chequing
If you are from 15-22 years old, you will need a Connect Chequing Account (with or without a MemberCard). This low fee money management account will help you learn to budget and develop responsible banking habits early on in life. The monthly fee only applies if you choose to have a MemberCard debit card, and provides a generous number of included ATM withdrawals or Interac Direct Payments every month.
The account also allows you a number of free withdrawals, cheques, pre-authorized debits, and bill payments.
Golden Account Package
If you are 59 years or older, choose between a Total Service Package, or a Golden Account Package. Our Golden Account Packages reward you for your relationship with us. We know that we can serve you best when all your finances are with us, and we want to thank you for your loyalty through our Golden Account Packages. There are three different levels of packages, each with an allotted number of free included transactions. Golden members automatically qualify for their package based on their combined total of loans and deposits with Cambrian:
Golden Account I: Total Relationship <$2,000
Golden Account II: Total Relationship $2,000-$9,999
Golden Account III: Total Relationship >$10,000

US Dollar Chequing Account
If you are interested in having an account in American funds, we can offer you a US Chequing Account. This account is suitable if you often travel to the United States and want to save up money, if you do business in the U.S. and need to write cheques in American currency, or if you’re just looking for an account to hold American funds for whatever reason.
Open your US chequing account at any Cambrian branch. You can transfer to it using Cambrian Online, or deposit directly to it at the branch. Withdrawals can be made from it in US cash at the branch, or US dollar cheques can be ordered at a reasonable cost.
What’s more is that you’ll earn interest on balances of $501 or more, and service fees for cheques and withdrawals are waived if the minimum monthly balance is greater than $1,000.
